  • Wonderbird offers graphic design across both print and digital, alongside brand and product photography. This includes brand design, whether you are starting from scratch or working with an existing identity. We cover the essentials such as logos, colour palettes, photographic style, and brand voice. Keeping both design and photography in-house helps ensure your brand feels cohesive across every touchpoint. When illustration is needed, I collaborate with a small group of trusted illustrators to bring the right style and quality to your project.

I also design and build websites on WordPress and Squarespace, and can work with custom builds when required. My work spans everything from business cards, books, publications, and reports through to marketing collateral, packaging, exhibition graphics, and signage.

I regularly collaborate with in-house teams, studios, councils, and agencies as an extra set of experienced design hands, stepping in where needed and fitting seamlessly into existing workflows.

I am not a one-trick pony. I have even recently embarked on becoming a tennis coach, though that is a story for another time.

  • I focus on professional photography that helps businesses, creatives, and projects present themselves thoughtfully and consistently. This includes brand portraits, product photography, events, interior spaces, exhibitions, galleries, and art objects. Essentially, any photography that supports your project, brand, or creative work.

I am not currently offering family, wedding, or personal portrait photography.

My work is aimed at helping clients tell their story visually, creating professional images for use in marketing, publications, online, or exhibitions.

  • Getting started is simple. You can reach out through the contact form or book a call. We will talk through your needs, timelines, and whether we are a good fit. From there, I will outline the next steps clearly so you know exactly what to expect. Even if you are not sure exactly what you need yet, we can work together to clarify your goals and create a plan that works for your project.

  • Wonderbird is small by design. We work as a team, you and me, with direct collaboration at every step. I focus on thoughtful, practical solutions that actually work for your project and your audience. Clear communication, careful attention to detail, and consistency are central to everything I do.

I keep both design and photography in-house whenever possible, which helps your brand feel cohesive across every touchpoint. When additional expertise is needed, such as illustration or custom development, I collaborate with trusted creatives to ensure quality and a seamless experience.

Above all, I aim to make the process simple, enjoyable, and stress-free.

  • Collaborative, calm, organised, and straightforward. I will guide the process, ask the right questions, and keep things moving. I am responsive, I care deeply about your project, and I give it my all. More often than not, I am thinking about the work we are co-creating while walking on the beach with my sweet dog, Adie.

Clients often say they feel supported, informed, guided, and included at every stage, with a healthy dose of enjoyment added in too.

  • Pricing is based on the scope and complexity of each project. After our initial conversation, I will provide a clear and transparent quote with no hidden costs. If you are just starting out and have a limited budget, we can create a plan together that allows you to start where you can and grow as your business evolves. Brand identities and websites are not static, so we can start small and expand when you are ready. The goal is to make your investment work for you while keeping your options open for the future.

Payments for design projects are usually broken down into two or three installments, with a 25% deposit at the outset to secure your time with me.

For photoshoots, a 25% deposit is due at the time of booking, with the remaining 75% payable once my editing is completed. Additional editing beyond what is included in the quote is charged at an hourly rate of $85 per hour.

  • You can get in touch anytime via the contact page or by email. I usually respond within one business day. You are also welcome to call 021 192 8447, and if I am not available, please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

  • For photography, I retain the copyright to all images. You will receive the final edited images for use as agreed, but raw files are not provided. I will always have a conversation with you before sharing any of your photography or design on my social networks or website. I respect your timing and privacy, and when sharing, I also tag you to help promote your work alongside mine.

For your part, if you share my photography, I ask that you please credit me where possible.

For design, I usually retain the original design files and provide you with the final deliverables, such as PDFs, PNGs, or JPEGs. If you need the editable files, we can discuss this as part of the project, and it may involve an additional fee.

  • No, I don’t have a permanent studio in Paekakariki. When a studio setup is required, I hire a professional space in Paraparaumu to suit the project. I also have my own setup for product photography, which allows me to capture high-quality images on location or in smaller spaces. Whenever possible, I enjoy shooting on location to capture your work or brand in a natural and authentic setting.
